The spacious interior with large tables attracts many working patrons, while sidewalk tables under the trees provide a relaxing setting. It's a popular hangout for locals, offering great coffee, delicious food, and refreshing drinks. Would be ideal if a bit more spacious still works for a quick coffee stop. Consistently excellent coffee, both pourovers and espresso-based drinks.

☕️ Instead of your standard cup, they offer carefully curated blends that make the experience feel truly elevated and unique. No fanfare, walk up, order, wait a bit, ENJOY (!!!) and be on your way to enjoy the rest of your day. I feel like Kudu’s strength is that they offer a complete morning commuter package. We went for breakfast on Sunday morning (because we couldn’t find a table at The Makers, and this one was the most convenient option in rainy weather).

Traditional Greek coffee – thick, dark and bitter, and served with no sugar, one sugar, or two – remains the cornerstone of a morning pick-me-up, although third-wave café culture has taken root in Athens, too. The music is upbeat and baristas are helpful and smiling no matter how busy they are – I just love Mediterranean people! The eggs were a bit too runny for my taste and the Holondaise could have been a bit thicker but the coffee was outstanding and served in beautiful ceramics. Just Made 33 has a spacious terrace where you can sit out in the morning sun or enjoy a tasty afternoon snack from their extensive menu.

It is generally quite crowded, which says a lot about how popular it is. Still enjoyable, just a personal taste. The coffee was good, though I personally prefer my coffee a bit hotter. The sugar level was perfectly balanced, which is rare in Athens where many desserts can feel too sweet for those who prefer lighter flavors. When we visited, there was a strawberry galette and it was delicious.

One can add water and still enjoy a good taste. It was our last breakfast in Greece, and they did an excellent job of completing our fond memories of Greece. Famous for its drinks and coffee, with very reasonable prices.

  • Despite being located a bit further from the city center, it's worth the trip.
  • It is impossible to feel comfortable or enjoy the atmosphere while surrounded by symbols of a regime that funds aggression.
